I can feel the tiny piece of chicken getting stuck on top of my band. I cannot wait till Iget this thing out of me. I wish I could make my own room here that is all about people telling other NOT to get banded. I am sorry. I do not know why this product is still on the market. Sorry...just venting. I am so ready to be switched on the 24th!! Excited!!!

I hear you. I'm waiting for the class action law suit against the makers of the bands and wondering what's taking so long.

Funny you should mention that.  There are two people on the main board about to be banded that have received a long line of warnings to reconsider their choice.

Yes I can't wait for the CLASS ACTION SUIT...I want to be the first to sign up. I had two failed lap bands. The band should be banned forever. Eating with my DS is such a breeze.

A breeze? I had my surgery 3 days after you, and I am struggling with eating, drinking, stomach cramping, and flatulence. What are you eating?

Getting my band out was the best thing that ever happened to me.  I missed being able to eat chicken.  I've always loved white meat.  I hated the fact that the band kept me from eating healthy white meat chicken unless i covered it with something to make it easier to swallow, which caused the calories/fat to go up, defeating the band anyway.  I'm 3 months out and have absolutely no trouble swallowing anything with or without sauce, and now I'm not scared of sauce because of my DS.
