Vitamins to take as a pre-op?
I'm currently trying to address any issues (emotional, physical, and otherwise) that have the potential to be troublesome as a post-op. The #1 issue I'm facing is this: I'm absolutely terrible with taking pills. I usually get a prescription and stop taking it within a few days (unless I'm feeling especially terrible).
I fully understand that this way of taking medication is not only unacceptable, but has the potential to be deadly as a post-op DSer. Because of this (and for my general health), I would like to start taking some vitamins every day to help me get used to taking medication on a more regular basis.
I want to start taking a multivitamin, but don't know what else I could possibly add. Calcium, maybe? Do you have any suggestions?
If you've had any nutritional labs done, those would be helpful for us to know but you can possible start with Vitalady's pre-op ideas, and once you get some labs, adjust. http://http://www.gblcreations.com/Resources/Gina/VitaladysPre-op_i deas_11-2009.doc
