So glad you are here on this board asking questions because there is much to learn. You absolutely need much more calcium every day. See my response below.
One dose is two pils. Gotta read those labels. So my one dose is something like 640 mgs but I just count it as 600. The Absolute minimum you should take is 3 doses a day (6 pills) but to keep my labs in check I take two pills (one dose) 6 or more times a day. I set a timer that goes off every 90 minutes so I can keep track. I also take one Magnesium Citrate with each dose and at least 3 Dry D throughout the day as well. You must take the Mag Citrate so the Calcium can work.
Wat happens if you take too little Calcium? A bone scan can show you how you are leaching Calcium from your bones, Hip fracture is not something I want in my future.
Please check out Vitalady's plan and get on it and get your labs done asasp.

I had several triggers - any sugar free food or drink, any sugar alcohols, lactose, whey, gluten, probiotics (aren't my friend either). After an elimination diet, I still had horrible gas and diarrhea. I did two rounds of Flagyl, which helped 95% of my gas issues, but nothing for the diarrhea. I finally discovered Chia seeds when I visited my cousin in Portland, she gave me a baggy full and it only took a few days to start firming up my stools. Now, when I have a problem, I dump a spoonful in my mouth and drink water to wash them down - generally do 3, morning and night. I tried putting them in shakes and they stuck to the glass, put in a shot glass, with water and they stuck. It's just easier to dump, drink down. You'll probably have to go brush your teeth as they stick to gums and teeth too. None of the anti-diarrhea meds helped me at all.
I discovered that chewable vitamins had sorbitol in them, not good for me... I do take Flagyl as a maintenance dose every couple of weeks, I'll do a 250mg for 2 or 3 nights. I've probably tried 5-6 different probiotics, even Primal Ultra Defense, could never get past taking one, the gas and bloating were awful.
good luck.

You can pick up chia seeds at Walgreens, and probably most major pharmacies as well as Whole Foods and other health food stores. Having the extra bulk in your stool can help give it some form so it isn't jus****er. When your stool is watery it is very hard to keep your anal sphincter squeezed tight enough to prevent leaks.
Primal Defense Ultra can also be purchased at health food stores. Or you can do a Google search and order it online. With some effort you might be able to find it on sale somewhere online.
Calcium and other minerals like zinc can firm up your stool because you won't absorb most of them and they will go out through your poop. Different DSers take different amounts of calcium, from 2000mg to 6000mg. It is important that you read the back of the calcium bottle. Often you will see a dose is FOUR caplets (or tablets or pills) and that dose might only be 500mg. So it would take FOUR tablets to get 500mg and SIXTEEN tablets to get 2000mg. The point is that taking a calcium in the morning is going to prove inadequate.
Keep reading. Do a google search using the search terms: calcium obesityhelp read, read, read.
