I wanted to know if others are going to the bathroom around the 2m-6am hours. It's like everything I had to eat that day decides to come out in the wee hours in the morning.

Yep! And it's messing with my sleeping schedule... I seem to wake up every morning at 4:30 and go potty just to climb into bed and sleep another 4 hours. I wonder if this is the new normal? My husband reminds me that I'm still healing and not to worry about the extra sleep. I suppose that if this continues when I return to work, I'll just get up at that time and maybe workout before work.

This will change with time. For the first six months or so, I was getting up about 4 AM to go. Gradually it got later, until now I go about 7 AM.

I'm 4.5 mo out.  From 3-4 months, I went when I woke up.  At 4 mo, I started back going in the middle of the night, then when I got up and usually about 3 times in 30min after I wake up.  I do not like this 2-3 am thing. It really does disrupt sleep!

The first 8 weeks post-op were like that for me too.  But then it slowly normalized so I could accommodate extra bathroom time into my normal routine.

It will get better.

I was up at 5 today after needing to go for at least 30 mins and not being able to fall asleep again.  I'm pondering Jensch's idea to workout.  I'm up at 5:30 anyway, IDK - I'll think about it.
