Hi! I've been "lurking" since June ( I had to do the 6 month program) and I so appreciate all that I have learned from you! Thanks, MajorMom, for the vitamin info you sent. I got copies of my baseline labs and will start a spreadsheet. I just had my 1/2 day appointment at Dr. Kemmeter's office. I was told that all I would need are the 3 Celebrate Vitamins a day plus iron and calcium. Of course, I know that isn't adequate and will be following Vitalady's program! My surgery date is January 8th. It will be a laparoscopic virgin DS. I start my "special" diet Christmas Day which is a bit of a bummer. I am a high school teacher and will not be returning until February 4th, if all goes well. Again, I'm really thankful for this site and all I have learned already.

Hello and welcome! I had a band to DS done by Dr. Kemmeter on the 13th and am already loving my DS. I wish you an exciting journey and a good recovery. Great for setting up your lab tracking now!

Congratulations on getting your date!! What a nice present. : )

I'm so glad you're going to go with Vitalady. All you'll have to do is adjust up or down depending on your labs. Don't worry about trying to do them all at first, it will take time to work up to the full regimen.

Welcome and congrats. I had my surgery on the 6th with Dr Kemmeter. I was suppose to start my special diet on Thanksgiving and my NUT told me to start a day later. Best of luck with your journey.
