Anyone have multiple issues sleeping in their bed post surgery?

Hon, I know this is late - I just saw this... but it took me eight weeks to be able to sleep a full night in my bed. At about six weeks out I was able to sleep for about 3 or 4 hours before I'd be too achy and have to move back out to the recliner. It wasn't anything to do with reflux for me... just tummy pain from my incisions. I promise it gets better and before you know it you'll be right back in your bed! Congrats on your surgery! It's going to be an awesome ride from here on out!

I know I'm late to this too...but the GERD needs attention...medicine type attention. Most of us need help at first, many need to take twice as much as we would pre-op just to get relief.

HOWEVER, it can get much better. I lived on a PPI the first year but now I no longer need to deal with it.

I did have some in the house and thanks to all my carb intake at Christmas, it reared it's ugly head again so I started back on my PPI...just stopped again after 3 weeks...took that long to get it back under control.

Dh still wears a cpap (his got better after his DS but his is also genetic) but he did have to get mask adjustments while he was losing weight...it just no longer fit the same way. So yeah, mask fittings will go a long way to help.
