As you go through the weight loss stages

I was thinking about this.  Ulta and/or Sephora -both- do makeovers.  During the weight loss phase if you need a little perk me up even if you are not into makeup.  Have one of the makeup artists do a makeover.  It's fun and free and feeling pampered!  If you barely wear any.. They can do that as well...

Good idea!  I got a make-up and skin analysis in my second year post-op. They really helped me with the right moisturizers and serums. My skin was so dry after losing weight and from the way we malabsorb oils and fats.

About a year and a half out I went to "White House Black Market" and spent several hours there letting the staff dress me up like a doll. It was an incredibly good experience for me.

I'd gone in just to look and the ladies there just took over and started bringing me things in the dressing room and giving suggestions. It was incredible.

Now, when I need a little ego boost, I'll go there and let them dress me up. I love their clothes (wearing two pieces today actually!) and always find it to be a positive experience.

Make-up is nice but I wear clothes all the time and have a comfort zone that I need to be yanked out of sometimes.
