I'll be glad when this training is done and I can get back out to walk. Good job. Shivering burns more calories. Just keep telling yourself that. : )

I have been avoiding here telling myself it was because I didn't have time. Well that's a bunch of BS. I have been in a carb funk since Thanksgiving. Last week I lost 6 pounds and then have played around with those 6 pounds all week. Yesterday I was under 75 grams of carbs today I only had 42 grams. So here I am back at it. A little more than frustrated at my doctor. At my 6 month check-up he looked at my 3 month labs. I said, "you told me my K was low so I upped it, but I also switched completely to Vitalady's recommended dosages." He says, "Oh, your AD&E were low too." I said, "good thing I took care of myself." So today the nut calls with my 6 months results. My iron is fabulous but only because I took care of it myself. My D and E are great because I took care of them myself. My K is still in the toilet so I upped my dosage to 3000 mcg a day. I had to ask about my prealbumin which was 16. He had no notes for her to say anything about it. UGHHHHHH. I am not comfortable with that # when low normal is 20. I will be stopping at vitamin shop tomorrow and buying some protein powder. That all said here are my bites, vites and exercites for today. Thanks for listening.

B- 2 eggs mixed with a can of tuna and 3 T of miracle whip

S- 9 little smokies

L- salmon patties

S- Sugar Free Mocha made with 1/2 & 1/2 (decaf) too late in the day for caffiene

D- Chuck Steak and spinach

S- Yogurt yummieness

Protein-168 grams

Fluid- 96 oz

Vites all in

Exercites: None today, but getting ready to train for a mini-triatholon that will take place in June.

Yep, you did the right thing to take care of yourself. The 2 shakes should help the prealbumin and albumin levels. You got whey protein isolate, right?

I have sampled Jay Rob and Dymatize Elite and liked both.  Honestly, whichever is cheaper will be the one I buy, but they are both Whey Isolate.
