96 Hours Post Op, slow steady drain.

Call your surgeon's office and let them know about this. Most likely it is not a problem but you need to get them involved. I had 2 drains that were pulled out the day I came home. One side stopped draining the same day, the other side continued to drain for 2-3 weeks. It got so heavy that my wife would band me up and stuff a kotex pad over the wound!

As the surgeon requested on my visit Tuesday because of the fluid leak, at I that time 5 days post op, I follow up today and because the leak has stopped, two days now I will not be required to go in for repair surgery today, which is one week post op. damn that was a long run on sentence!
