Energy...none left
OK...only a few weeks out and you guys weren't lying....For me it is still working FT getting in my liquid. I use my unflavored protein powder and hide it in my SF pudding. Trying to get my energy up....I just want to snap out of it. I never thought of myself as a weakling....but I think I am compared to others, lol. Thank God for this site...I have been rummaging through posts from way back....looking for the gritty icky taste in my mouth to the bubble I feel after a swallow of mushies. I wish I can fast forward to about 5 months from now......get over this fatigue thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anesthesia in and of itself can take a huge toll on your energy. I had Breast Cancer surgery in Dec and altho I wasn't under that long it was long enough to make me feel absolutely exhausted. I still feel tired. I am trying to take lots of supplements to get my energy back to normal so that I can do my revision in March because I know I am going to once again be super exhausted with no energy. The surgery and healing process altho take a huge toll on your body and deplete your energy levels. You just need to take it one day at a time, get lots of rest and let your body heal the way it needs to.When you feel up to it try and walk as much as possible in between resting.
Hope your feeling better soon.

I am 6 mo out, I have had great weight loss success. The first month was complications then issues come up. I cannot seem to get my energy back except for a little bit. Everyone tells me there is a turning point, on a day when I think I have it, it's not. I keep taking my vits etc. I am bumping up a few things. I want to fast forward to a year. !
Thanks for all your replies. I am drinking, sip, sip,sip.....My schedule is totally off.....when I do something during the day I come home and crash aaround 6pm...then wake up at 9pm when the hubby comes to bed......he made me potato soup...OMG....it was heaven....went down great.....Thank you all for your support and encouragement. My hubby knows about this site...he has never been on it but whenever I have a question about my WLS...he says,"Go ask your friends on your website....maybe someone else has gone through it......." He is right. I love you guys!
lizzie, don't worry too much. "This too shall pass." It took me about three months to get over the nausea and about another month to see an improvement in my energy. You'll adjust. This is one of those thing that varies from person to person. Heck, I still like the days when I can get in a little evening nap!
