FINALLY FOOD!
I am almost 5 weeks out and finally seem to be on the mend and able to eat soft foods. It has been quite a struggle for me, which I did not expect, but I actually ate most of an egg today and my stomach is just a little queasy. I had some Tortellini soup with spinach and parmesan cheese last night for dinner. I am up to about 40 gr of protein daily and climbing.
My biggest fear is the vitamins. I am taking a couple of chewables but the smell of the Vit Lady packs makes me gag and I have not started on that regimen.
Also, my weight loss is stalled - not surprising since my calorie intake is so low, but still frustrating.
I'm glad you're feeling better! How were the first few weeks for you? How has protein intake been going as well?
