Did anyone have an absess or leak?

I'm back in the hospital with a absess and a leak. Today they had up put a drain in.

Did anyone else experience this?

Yes, I did and it was terrible

Make sure you put a half cup of bleach in your bath water, then soak for awhile.

I was hospitalized with this a year ago.  I had to go on liquids.  I got a pick line and did overnight feedings until the draining stopped.  I've had no problem since.

Even with this and ulcers at the stoma, I still have had no regrets about revising my 30-year-old RNY to DS.

My only struggle is breaking the carbs that they put me back on in the hospital.
