Just want to thank all that provide much needed info on this particular surgery, on the surgeons who perform them and the surgeons who do the revisions. I've recently made several posts not intending to upset anyone just to gain the perspective of those who may have surgery under the surgeon i seek to use. I hope to continue to come here and for support if i am successful in obtaining this surgery.

Yes, please continue to come here for support - that is exactly what this place if for.  This is generally a friendly place. Try to focus on helpful posters and ignore those who have chips on their shoulders.  Wish you all the best in getting the surgery you want.

It took me nearly 3 years to get approved, and I was here the entire time, researching & reading.

Yes, there are some people who were negative, but I grew a thicker skin, and moved on toward my goal.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Hang in there. Read for info and forget the teaching style or tone you read into posts. Folks want to help they just have different ways of doing it.

This board is wonderful!  I could not have gone through this past 3 months without the wonderful people on this board.  ITA, take from it the good things and ignore the 'tudes!

BTW, we can all have a bad day!
