Cheese

Before surgery, I was a cheese-o-holic, I admit it! LOL!  However, after surgery, I almost cannot stand it.  The one thing I really have a problem with is melted and/or hot/warm cheese.  It gets stuck in my throat.  I then have to drink something hot to get it down me.  So, now I've stopped eating it.   If it is melted on something, then I wait until it cools off or I don't eat it at all.  At the office this week, I couldn't stomach a slice of cheese on a cracker so I used the cream cheese spread.

Anyone else have this problem?  Did you ever like cheese again?

I'm 3 months out now.

No problems eating cheese, my doc did say to stick with white cheese though. The cheese crisps are good too, where you melt the cheese in the microwave then.

White or Orange...doesn't matter...

Cheese crisps taste so good they do get to my tummy but just make me sick feeling...

Give it more time, try every few month and you may surprise yourself and end up liking it again.
