If you can stomach it I drink two shakes a day but my taste buds changed and I have a hard time drinking the double scoops without getting sick if you can do it though the more protein the merrier

it depends on the scoop for me if it is the 70 ml I can do a dbl but if it is 90 ml that is not tasty

Whole milk is driving up your carbs. When I make protein coffee I use 2 oz of heavy cream and 2 oz of water, then add  1 1/2 scoops of powder, a tiny dash of cinnamon, a packet of Truvia or Splenda, shake, then add 9-10 oz of brewed coffee or chai tea.

The heavy cream mixed with water is my preferred method as well.  Besides using it in the occasional protein drink, also use it for Jello brand SF cook and serve pudding and when making "milk" gravy.  Sometimes use half and half but prefer the heavy cream/water combo due to fewer carbs.

Even better yet, try Almond milk in your shakes instead. Heck it's easy to make homemade almond milk too.

Go with whatever you find most tolerable, sucks less.......or even enjoyable....whichever applies.

I honestly enjoy the shakes. I barely blend the ice so it like drinking a rather thick chocolate slushy.

For me, the coffee is simply a flavoring agent, since it adds very little in the way of nutrients, even antioxidants.

Unlike most, I need the carbs from whole milk to stabilize my weight.  At almost 4 years out, my DS is still like a runaway freight train, and my doctor want me to keep my weight no lower than 160 before plastics. The skin removal and lipo will get rid of about 10 -15 pounds.
