Funny Topic - The girls

My bras are too big around.  I just can't do (nor have I seen bras at Thrift Stores) buying them at Thrift stores.  I was just wondering if I go to Lane Bryant and buy a size down from what I would be at today.  I wonder if that would work.  I tried the Genie Bra & the Ahah Bra.  Not for me... :-)  I had a breast reduction 9 yrs ago - I'm still at a DDD or DD (depending on the brand).  The girls are looking more like when I had my reduction (before I gained weight).  Yippee!

here's what you do.... go to joanns craft store, in the notions department they have bra extenders.  then, you can go to lane bryant or wherever and buy a bra with a too small band and when you lose more, you can remove the extender and keep wearing the bra.  :-)

Also recommend the removable bra extender with a smaller bra size now.

I can always find inexpensive bras at Ross or TJ Maxx.

they may not be made to last but so what? Don't spend a lot until your size stabilizes. I found it hard to get a good fit because of so much loose skin on my sides and back. Now that I am where I will probably stay, size wise, I take time to find a bra that gives the most support with the least bumps and lumps. I am still finding one of my favorites was a Ross cheapie. ($8.00)

I just bought two new ones today at Target, but I love the extender idea. I will have to try it.

Lane Bryant has a molded cup bra called the Balconette that is bar-none the best full-coverage bra I ever owned.  My boobies are escape artists in most other bras.  Many look similar to the Balconette, but my boobs jumping out remind me otherwise.  I'm sad that I can't get them anymore.  The Victorias Secret is close, but not as foolproof.

I bought cheap bras at WalMart...didn't want to spend any serious money on  mine til I settled down!
