Back to work following open DS.

How long did those of you wh had open DS wait before you returned to work? Is you job active or more sedentary?

I took off 4 wks from both jobs went back in 3 wks just bc i was tired of just staying home. my jobs are sedentary some activity not much.

I took off 8 weeks total. I was very listless the first 4 weeks, and didn't feel like myself until week 6 or 7.

If I had not developed complications it would have been 8 weeks off from work. I have a sit down job at a computer.

I went back to work full time at 5 weeks and thought I'd die the first week....but didn't. I started to feel like "normal" around 7-8 weeks.

I was open and took 8 weeks. I do daycare, so lifting children would not have been a good option!
