I'm out of my chewable/liquid tylenol and have a headache. I have pre-op supplies at my desk, is it OK to swallow a tylenol whole?  I'm on the pureed part of my post op, 4 weeks out.

You should be able to swallow anything now that you could pre-op. You still have a fully-functional stomach, not a stoma that might get blocked by a too-large pill.

go ahead and take the tylenol.  Are you not swallowing any vitamin or supplements in pill format?

I've got all chewables from Celebrate that i've been taking.  Once I go into my surgeon next week for my follow-up I figured they would clear me to move to different vitamins, but for the price I paid for these, I'm chewing up every last one.  :-)

Thank you!  Hope this helps my head.  Changes in the weather always drive my head crazy.

You can swallow pills the day of your surgery.  This liquid idea is a myth.  I was swallowing pills in the hospital no problem.

I swallowed pills my first day home.  Just do one at a time and take it slow.
