it depends who is bleeding. if its someone i love, i seem to almost lose it. if its someone i don't know, than i don't have near the reaction.

You are just lovely!

Nursing is a great career for raising a family - my sister was the envy of the family with her schedule, benefits and pay.  Godd luck!

thats exactly what i thought. i would love to work graveyards 3 nights a week. then be able to love up on my 'future' kids. also don't have to pay childcare:) since me and my hubby would be able to juggle the time:) extremely excited!

OMG! YOU LOOK SO GOOD!!!! I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE THAT YOUR ARE so CLOSE TO YOUR GOAL WEIGHT! AWESOME!   i will be having my surgery 10/25/2012 so i am very nervous.  U said that you have'nt been like actually working out much, and just staying active? your still loosing weight w/o the work out?  and what do you do about sagging skin?  i want to do what i can to prevent that from happening?

its totally normal to be nervous and there will also be a moment of WTF after surgery too. yea i have not been working out at a gym or anything because i have been just so busy that i am moving all day. in the summer i did co-ed sball. yes i am consistantly still losing:) but i eat very well. i don't carb splurg all the time. besides 90% of weight loss is all about your diet.
sagging skin is a whole other ball of wax. a lot of things come into play:
-genetics
-youth
-hydration
-working out
-how long you have been MO
-time (a period of time at normal weight, see if your body will lose some of the extra skin)

so the only thing you can do is just hydrate, eat well, work out and hope the loose skin is not a huge issue. i was lucky because i am young, my genetics, and hydration did help a lot. i have some loose skin on arms ... but not bad at all, i bet if i worked out with weights on my arms you wouldn't even be able to tell at all. my thighs have some on the inside of my thights but not horrible and if i ran more i am sure that would tighten up quite a bit. the worst one is my tummy :( i dont' think that will be cured by workout just by how it is looking. so after i have kids i think i am going to get a TT.  hope that helps

Your weight loss is very inspiring.  I am currently banded but have recently started looking into getting a revision.  I was thinking of the RNY gastric bypass, but the more I look at it the more the DS looks like a better surgery to me.  I am currently in nursing school & KNOW that I will be a much better nurse if I were to lose the weight.  I look forward to watching your progress and hope that you get into nursing school, it's really so much fun.  Lots of work, but I know that like weight loss, it will be worth it in the end!!
