I feel like I'm doing pretty good!  Dr said my sleeve didn't look stretched at all (thanks to the 2 week liquid diet).  But I had to ask him if he did resleeve me because I can take about an ounce at a time.  Insane what our bodies can do!!!

I've had 3 BM's so far.  1 last night and 2 so far today.  Eating yogurt and creamy soups.  Lots of water and ice.  Lots of walking but I get tired really easily.  Liquid lortab is helping with the pain.  My right side seems to be the worst.  My stupid husband keeps making me laugh and I just want to throw something at him.  =)  He's just a goober and he's taking great care of me.  He's so cooped up and wants to get out, but it's storming and I don't want to leave the room right now.  We found a little indoor antique flea market and walked around there last night for a little while.  But by the time we got back to the hotel, I wanted to crash.  He's begging me to go to Kroger and walk around, but I'm not feeling the grocery store anytime soon...  ugh.

Overall I feel good.  Just ready to feel normal again and not be so limited because of the pain.  Just gotta give myself time to heal...  I'm so impatient.  LOL!

When the swelling in your sleeve resolves, you will have more capacity, and over a year, your sleeve will "mature", and you will probably be able to eat a small meal at one sitting.  Don't be afraid to use the electric cart if you need to at first.

Good Luck and God Bless!

Oops!  I thought you were brand new!  Sorry about that!

I still have lots of restriction, but not as much as the one other DSer that lives in my area!  Were about the same amount of time out from surgery.

We're in the same support group, and everybody else has the RNY!
