I know you didn't ask me this, but I'll answer anyway because everyone is entitled to my opinion

Those (the dry fat soluble vites) are not easy, or even possible to find in any normal store or vitamin shops, so I order them on line. Vitalady is where I usually get them, since she has EVERYthing we need, but you can order them easily on line.

Doesn't seem like much to me either.

I don't have my bottles with me but I'll estimate:

Morning -

Multi + iron
Zinc
Vit D 100k (dry from vitalady)
Vit A (dry from vitalady) - one pill per day
Probiotic (2)
Magnesium Citrate (2)

Calcium starts a few hours later.  I've been taking bone booster complex from vitacost.  I take 6 capsules three times through the rest of day, 1,000mg each dose.  It also includes zinc, copper, folic, B12, K, D3 and C.

My K and E have been normal so I don't need any additional supplementation there.

I was taking 150k of Vit D. but my last labs came back slightly elevated, so I've cut back to 100k per day.

Sorry - I don't take iron because it's a complete waste - I don't absorb it.  I keep myself ok by a yearly infusion - the supplements just don't cut it.

Tali, I gotta ask. You are actually taking 8 of the dry vitamin A per day? Did you land on this dose after labs dictated it, or based on something else?

I started with Vitalady's DS plan after my surgeon's failed me. He approved giving Vitalady a try and we've been with it ever since. I tweak these for my labs with my dietitian.

Taking the non-dry prescription Vitamin D is doing absolutely nothing for you. You need to take a dry Vitamin D. I take the Bio-Tech Dry Vitamin D, each pill is 50,000. You can get it from Vitalady or Amazon.

My DS surgeon was the one who initially prescribed the vitamin D.

...and it was 50,000 iu/day that he prescribed at the time.  What I have now isn't as high a dosage.
