Has anyone ever had an anal fissure. I posted a few weeks ago. Just wondering if anyone has had one and how long did it take to heal? Did you need surgery? Fissures are extremely painful. Suffered for a long time before I went to the dr.

My mother had them and was absolutely miserable with it. She didn't get relief until surgery.

Valerie. How was the surgery for your mom? Recovery time? Did she have a lot of pain post op? I just don't know how much more of this I can take
