X-Post : Stevia - bitter aftertaste?
We had samples of Truvia at one of our support group meetings when it first came out. Hated it then, hate it now! Stevia is stevia to my tastebuds, I guess!
I was trying to go all natural with my sweeteners, but it seems sugar or honey are my only choices, which really aren't, because of the laxative effect they have on me.
If it were based purely on taste, Splenda would be my first choice, followed by Sweet N' Low.
I guess I'm stuck with the chemicals!

I happen to love Truvia, before and after my DS. Splenda, meh, I can take it or leave it.

I tried Stevia...hate it. Has a bitter aftertaste to me too.
Been using splenda so long that when I first got it, I had to order it as it was NOT in retail stores yet. It was for the almost 2 years after FDA approval back in 1998...had to order it online back then. Then it finally hit the stores.
