Dear all,

I see under the daily bites, vites and Exercise section that many of you are drinking Protein Coffees. I am just 20 days out from my DS and already sick of these Protein Shakes.

Would you be so kind as to share the Brands or recipes for your Protein Coffees..?

Regards,
Brent

Personally, I make the shake that Jamie gave you the link for (sorry about the bad grammar). I never get tied of it.

Gina "major mom" has a different recipe which I use some time. Go to her profile then go to the bottom of that page and hit the "next". There's her protein coffee....a hot drink.

I use Champjon stack in chocolate. Although the company recently changed the formulation, I still like it, but it bothers some folks. Try samples from Vitalady.

It depends on your protien powder. I use 1 1/2 scoops for about 31 gms. My other change is that I use heavy cream instead of half and half.

Here's mine:

1 - 20 oz shaker cup with wire ball
4 to 6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, water, or milk
1 to 1 1/2 scoops of Syntrax Nectar Vanilla protein powder, a dash of cinnamon and an packet of Truvia or Splenda
{shake} until blended
Pour into large mug
Add 9 to 10 oz of hot brewed coffee (decaf or reduced caffeine) or brewed chai tea from a tea bag

{stir}

Add hot liquid to cold liquid to avoid lumps. Keep the protein slurry below 160 degrees.

very much like major mom's recipe, here's mine.  been drinking this 3x a day for 3 years

16 - 20 oz mug
pour in coffee 2/3 full
add your creamer, half n half, milk whichever you like
1 1/2 scoops of champion pure whey stack - i mix the choco and vanilla together
stir until blended

it is important that you cool the coffee with the cream before adding the protein powder.  otherwise you make "cook" the powder and it will be lumpy.

enjoy!

Mine is so easy I hesitate to call it a recipe:

2 scoops of ON chocolate protein powder
milk

Mix well in a shaker bottle and pour in the bottom of a big ass mug.
Place under a Keurig.

On the biggest setting, brew 1 serving of Folger"s Caramel Drizzle coffee.

Drink & thank God for caffeine at 6:30 in the morning.

There is a brand named CLICK.  Their mocha is amazing. They also have a vanilla flavored coffee that I haven't tried.  It's not a recipe, it's a powder that you just mix with water and a bit of ice.  Super easy and one of the few I can stand these days.  They also have decaf if you need that.
