Yes I have been on protein drinks since about a week out of surgery per his instructions, and it has been yucky. I'm trying to push my fluids as much as possible. I'm drinking right now the lemon water with a packet of Splenda so it taste good and it's going down. I can also tolerate for some reason watermelon for which I am eating that and the water in it does count I was told. I have also started mixing Greek yogurt plain and my blender with watermelon and a half a banana and one Splenda so that I can have some kind of protein and some nutrients per day. I'm going to try to add some of my protein powder in it to hopefully disguise the taste of that nasty stuff, I've tried so many different types of protein drinks, powder, shakes and they're just so nasty. Lol

Don't know much but I would think tha****ermelon would have a huge amount of sugar in it which might not help your weightloss...

I agree that it may be a possibility there. I only eat it once a day to make my yogurt smoothie with the Greek style.  It is high in carbs/sugars:  Watermelon, 1 slice Sugars, total: 18g Calories, total: 86 Calories from sugar: 72
