I would add Dr. David Greenbaum in New Jersey. I know that he's been talking to people about ERNYs lately, but he does have lots of sucessful experience doing true RnY-to-DS revisions.

I had Greenbaum abd I also had Gagner in Canada...... They have both been removed from my list.
They are not on the up & up right now. People waking up with different surgeries, and trying to be talked into other surgeries, etc.
I am too wary to keep the on the list right now due to some not so positive trends in the last year or 2.

Dr. Simper is the one I've been working with. I think he's great and his staff is absolutely amazing. Very caring and professional. And this is coming from a self-professed doctor snob.
He's been very upfront with me. Made sure I knew what the risks were with a revision, and what would be expected of me both before and after surgery. That impressed me. He takes this kind of thing very seriously.
I haven't done the surgery yet because I'm terrified to do so. Not because of a lack of a good surgeon. I had a really rough time after my gastric bypass and that's made me a bit gun-shy so to speak. Also, I've been struggling to find a thyroid medication that would actually work for me, and not make me swing between hyper and hypo. (I wonder if my gastric bypass has anything to do with that. Like maybe I absorb the meds in a weird way now?) I didn't feel like I could go through with surgery when my thyroid disease wasn't controlled.
So, as of now, I am proceeding as if I am indeed having surgery. I have to do a six to three month diet before surgery, and that will give me time to make the right decision for myself and my family. I'd be happy to share my experiences with Dr. Simper during that time.
