13 months post op WOW moment

The other day I posted passport pics because as I looked at all the 1 year update pics I felt like I had not even come close to accomplishing what I had seen most people achieve since there surgery. I felt like I was failing my DS because i really could not see my accomplishments.

But today... I had a WOW moment. One of my sons took a pic of me as I arrived home from work telling me I needed to see how skinny i looked. I honestly laughed at him telling him I was still his fat mom.

Anyhow.. i decided to update my journey pic to show this new pic which was taken today...

From my heaviest weight (pre-band) in 2008 - weighing 385 lbs
2nd pic... pre-DS - weighing 322 lbs
and today..... weighing 187 lbs
I have lost so far 198 lbs which is more than I actually weigh... I am still in shock as I honestly felt like I had not accomplished anything.

TRULY A WOW MOMENT FOR ME!!!

HW 175 KG (385 lbs) - then banded in 2008 - DS journey HW 146 KG (322 lbs)

CW 81 KG (179 lbs) - GW 79.5 KG (175 lbs)
