Looks like I did fine with the whole lot.  It's the next morning and I'm OK.  Last night I had my first non crampy BM (and my 2nd one this morning - I'm 12 days out today).  Maybe my insides like slightly more firm food LOL.

Right on target! You probably will do better on dense food bu****ch you labs for protein and albumin. If those get low it may be because your stomach can't mush dense protein enough for you to absorb it. That's why you want some variety such as soft and liquid protein too.

Ooh, I'd never heard of dense proteing being hard to absorb.  I have soft cheese and an egg a day, so hopefully that'll help, but I'll watch out.  I think I'll aim to get labs done at 3 months post op.  I have pre-op labs in a spreadsheet so I should hopefully be able to detect any trends early.
