You have to be morbidly obese again, and at that weight I doubt you are. I don't think your RNY is a lost cause though. Get back on program and you may see that weight come right off. It won't be as easy as it was your first couple of years post op, but it will be easier than it was pre-op.

Success in the world of bariatric surgery is defined as losing at least 50% of your excess weight. I don't know where you started, but at the weight you are now, you would almost certainly be considered a "success", even though you aren't where you want to be and it doesn't feel like success to you.
Some people with RNY to lose down to a normal weight and stay there, but more often the results are in the 50 - 70% excess weight loss range. I don't know what expectations you had of your surgery, or whether or not your surgeon promoted realistic expectations for you, but in reality you have done very well with your RNY and I very much doubt you would qualify for any type of revision.
