Upcoming surgery

Dr Schwartz was the one that recommended DS to me. To be truthful I hadn't heard about it before. Also the hospital was recommended to me by a friend. I'm a little embarassed that i didn't not research this. I know he was the first to perform the RNY in the midwest. And i assumed that he wouldn't of suggested the procedure if he wasn't confident and experienced. I will have to do more research and fast. Surgery on Tuesday. Thank you,

Yes, please really read about the DS.  On Dr. Schwartz, he says he was the first in the midwest to do the RNY laparoscopically, not to do the RNY at all.  Before that, RNYs were done open.  I see that the website does not list the DS in it's list of weight loss surgeries offered.  I hope that you really do get a DS, and that it goes off without a hitch.
