Easily did 64oz water (it included some chamomile tea) as I only drank for breakfast and lunch (they only thing they'd give me in hospital was natural yogurt with milk powder & I can't cope with the bloating).

Dinner: green vegetable soup (it's in Flemish) with some cream & a hot dog

Protein: ~10g

Back home tomorrow and then I can start mushies in earnest (fish, etc) & therefore get slightly more sensible protein figures.  Pre-op I spent >6 months getting >100g/day so I think I should be OK.

All clear to start vites later next week.

Sounds good. Wonder what's in that yogurt causing you to bloat? Just lactose intolerant at this point? Why would they put milk in something for new WLS patients?  Interesting... The soft fish you're planning sounds perfect.

I've had intolerane to powdered milk about 10 years.  I mentioned to my PCP (ages ago) & my surgeon today & they both seemed very well aware of people having issues with milk powder.  My PCP said that it's the preservatives in milk powder that cause intolerance.

Milk-wise I may have lacto-free milk in very small quantities (I bought a box of hotel size portions coz I kept binning coz I wasn't using enough).  To date I've been fine with cheese & Greek yogurt without milk powder in it (I used to add very low sugar jelly & don't know how I'll get on with that as I've been told NO SUGAR at all!!) .

I'll also go for lacto-free cream (see link if you've not heard of it)  http://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Lactofree-Cream/67818011?from=search&tags=%7C20000¶m=lactofree+cream&parentContainer=SEARCHlactofree+cream_SHELFVIEW

I don't see a problem with low sugar jelly to make Greek yogurt edible. Heck, milk has sugar even if it is natural.
