So Excited I got my Surgery Date!!!

 After weeks of delays (caused by missing paperwork), constant phone calls and a whole lot of begging, (not too proud at this point!) I am finally having my DS September 4th! I was hoping it would be sooner, since my Husband is deploying the last week of September, but at this point I am just happy & relieved to have a date...It's a 7 hour drive to the hospital in Dallas...any tips or advice on how to make the hospital stay and trip home bearable?? Thanks in advance!!

If you're that far from home you might want to plan to stay in Dallas for a good 2 weeks after you're released. Take it nice and slow. Are you part of the Facebook group or the proboards group? If you want to join let me know and I'll send you the links.

Congratulations! We are only a few days apart!!!

 Thanks! Luckily my surgeon has an office in Lubbock that is only about a 90 minute drive. I can do my follow ups there and group as well. I am SO ready! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's progress and would love an invite to the FB page!
