Hi Gina,
Have you made all the changes in you vitamin regimen?
Much, much better today. I actually got dressed. A few hours of sleep last night really helped.

I'm so glad you're doing better today. Keep resting and sipping those shakes. :)

I met with the dietitian today and we cut back on vitamins B-1, B-12, D3 and stopped B-complex and A. We increased K1. She said try going back to Vitalady's zinc and take copper separate from iron. She thinks the zinc Vitalady sells may be better quality that the VitaminShoppe. We kept the Tender iron at 3 with Proferrin 3 nights a week. Keeping the protein shakes at 120g a day. She suggested cutting back on the nuts and sodium if I want to lose a couple or 3 pounds but otherwise she says I'm doing great. She thought the higher ferritin may be the inflammation in my shoulder not the iron.

I've thought of trying to cut back on my almonds, but haven't come up with a good alternative. Right now it's not an issue because I haven't had any in over a week.

I wonder too. I've stayed off the scale because of the swelling, IV fluids, inactivity and drain in place. Once recovered and the weight settles, I'm planning to focus on reaching my final goal.

Boy, sounds like you got another good nutritionist,

last few bites of chocolate mouse cake - took me 3 days to eat it

HAD A LOT OF FOLLOW/UP APT AND WAS TRAVELING AND DIDN'T PICK THE BEST OF THINGS LOL I STAYED CLOSE TO MY CARBS AND CLOSE TO MY PROTEIN. I HONESTLY JUST PECKED LIKE A LITTLE BIRD TODAY. NEVER USUALLY EAT LIKE THAT BUT... I FIGURED I WANTED SOMETHING CARBY... MADE SURE I STILL GOT ALL MY REQUIREMENTS.... TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY!
