I just went out and bought a beautiful Cuisinart Blender a few days ago and I need some recipies to make my own protein smoothies and shakes.  Do you have any to share??

Strawberries seem to be really good this year.  How about strawberries, greek yogurt and protein powder.  Or maybe fresh peaches...yum.

LOL...a Margarita sounds WONDERFUL!!

I have a whole bunch of strawberries that my kids and I picked and froze.  Wanted to get some raspberries, too.

I wanted to just blend in some greek yogurt, ice, fresh fruit and a scoop of protein powder.  Is that all I need?  Would I add milk to it?

I've never made shakes or smoothies before, so this is all new to me!

To make a good texture you should freeze your fruit instead of using ice! And be carful about the lactose in the milk. Having DS made me lactose intolerant. I just discovered Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk! YUM!! That's what I'd put in the shake!

Don't waste money buying Almond Milk, it's a "Breeze" to make at home.  That way you'll know exactly what's in your food.  DS is a tool to reclaim our lives.
