Is "BPD with DS" the same as DS?

My insurance covers a number of WLS types. However, I'm trying to figure out what the following means:

- Open and Laparoscopic biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch
I know this is the DS forum and that there is also a separate BPD forum which makes me think the two are very different. So then tell me, what is BPD with DS? Is that what everyone here calls a DS?
