Newbie Awaiting Surgery Date

I was cleared by the Cardiologist yesterday, and met all of the other requirements months ago, so now I am waiting for the hospital in Dallas to get my hosipital stay/anesthesia covered by my insurance (I am paying for the actual DS out of pocket). Has anyone else gone this route, and if so how long did it take? I am ready!!
