I started going to WW during my first year post op.  I still go weekly because I love my leader. He stresses the mind/heart/stomach connection.  He never tries to sell a product.

The reason I go is to be forced into maintaining my goal. I am too cheap to pay for meetings ever again!  I go with a good friend who had RNY 11 years ago and had a regain. She's counting points to get back to normal BMI.  She's down 60 pounds in the last year.

I use Myfitnesspal to count carbs and protein. I try to keep carbs on the low end. There is nothing in WW that says we need to eat carbs. Tracking my food helps me stay at goal because it forces me to be more mindful of what I eat.
