Got My surgery date for DS in Ontario

Happy to hear that OHIP understands that there needs to be different options to suit different people. I was the first to have the DS after the OHIP ban. Because I was a complicated revision, I had mine with Dr. Gagner in Montreal. Dr. Hong has had a lot of experience with all of the options. He is a good choice of sugeon.

Hi Jennifer, friend me on facebook to join our "Canadian DS Family" OH is great but it has a very American slant. I will still be coming here but on our Canadian DS facebook board we have a lot of post-op DSers who are trying to get follow-up care in Canada and having problems  educating Canadian physicians as to what the DS is, and why we need to be treated differently from other bariatric post-ops.
