absolutely beautiful day.  ran errands and played in my garden.

double protein coffee
5 sl bacon on 1 pc whole wheat toast w/tons of mayo
pc of coffee cake
12 bbq shrimp
few forkfuls of rice pilaf
some ceasar salad (first time for romaine lettuce - lets see how this works out later )
1/2 baked sweet potato
sugar cookie
assorted nuts
double protein coffee

vites:  all in 'cept bedtime batch
fluids:  70 oz

It was beautiful here today too. Spent the early evening with the oldest grand baby blowing bubbles out on the front porch.

CooL and rainy here today but mid 90's by the end of the week, think I'll be able to swim by then.

A milky way martini!?!?!?

B: bacon, protein shake
S: protein coffee
L: turkey and Swiss in 1/2 low carb pita, pickles (decided that the pita doesn't work for me)
S: cookie
S: nut thins and cream cheese (loved them!)
D: meatballs, mashed potatoes, small bite of salad

V: one batch left

Oh, yes. Milky Way martini. :)  Do you coat your cream cheese with spices? I love it that way...garlic salt, onion powder, paprika, a little bit of red pepper...yum!

I had a remarkably good day.  Both my dear daughters came and played in the pool and then we had dinner.  They are jealous that a KFC double down is "Healthy" for me and call me "Bionic Mom." haha.

B: bacon, eggs/cheese
S: greek yogurt (20)
S: protein bar (14)
L: Brok's Pizza
S: Cake Shake
D: KFC Double Down
S: Popcorn
S: protein bar (14)

Vites: yep.
Exercise:  teaching the pup to find the steps in the pool, bike ride.

I love wearing a bikini and not feeling one iota of self consciousness.  I love being able to ride a bike.

 I am curious to know what protein coffees are?  or a cake shake?  I really need to find a way to get more protein in me and the shake thing is grossing me out completely and making me gag to the point of throwing up some in my mouth so then I dump it all out which is waaaayyyyy to costly to do that.  UGH any help with protein recipes or where to look would be awesome. Thanks!!

Since many of the protein companies are changing their formula, I'm having trouble too. So far Syntrax Nectar is the same but they've ruined my IDS MultiPro vanilla-cinnamon. Here's my protein coffee:

1 - 20 oz shaker cup with wire ball
4 to 6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, water, or milk
1 to 1 1/2 scoops of IDS Vanilla-Cinnamon protein powder (Champion Nutrition Chocolate, Nectar Chocolate or Vanilla, etc.)
{shake} until blended
Pour into large mug
Add 9 to 10 oz of hot brewed coffee (decaf or reduced caffeine)
{stir}

Add hot liquid to cold liquid to avoid lumps. Keep the protein slurry below 160 degrees.

 Thanks so much for explaining what a coffee protein is.  lol  Us newbies need lots of info from the vets to get this correct.  lol
