Two weeks out today!

 Good morning fellow DSers!

I am two weeks out today and although not feeling 100% yet, I am feeling pretty darn good.

I have lost 40 pounds since my surgery on May 3rd.  Just unbelievable.  Most of this is due to not eating a whole lot.  I have been primarily sticking to liquids to keep myself hydrated.  

Yesterday, I had my drain taken out.  What a weird feeling that was.  So glad its out.  That was so annoying.

Also, just want to say thank you to all who share their stories here.  It is a tremendous help.  Hope you all have a wonderful day.

40 pounds! Wow that is wonderful. Congratulations! I had my surgery April 17th, so a liitle more than 4 weeks ago. I'm down 37.4 pounds! I have no more pain and feel pretty much at 100%. I do get worn out pretty easily though, but I believe it's because I'm not taking all my vitamins yet (waiting to get them in the mail).

 40 lbs in 2 weeks?!?!  Wow - congratulations.

I had my DS April 24 and have lost 'only' 21 lbs.  My surgery day weight was 236 and its now 215.  I feel like I am doing something wrong when I hear your numbers - but I know it's because I have less weight to lose int he first place.
