How far from the DS are you....
At the rate I was going I wasn't going to HAVE 15 more years. So that sort of ended my worries about that.
I have had no complications (Only 2.5 years out). Maintaining a low carb high protein diet is not always simple or easy or cheap. It takes work and planning and being conscious of what I eat.
Maintaining my vitamin regimine is also not simple or cheap. But I fill a pill box once a month, make my order to Vita Lady that day for the next month's fill and I'm pretty much good to go after that.
I write my own lab slip because my surgeon and pcp don't know what labs I need. My pcps have always signed the lab slip with no problem and I send copies to my surgeon. This way I know what was ordered and can compare the results I get (I get the results direct from the lab ... not through the pcp or surgoen) with what I know was ordered.
So those are some things.
