Approved for DS in Ontario, can't believe it!!!

As far as I know Dr, Hong does not have to apply to OHIP, it is at his discretion. I did not really have to talk him into it because I have 5 comorbidities including diabetes which many studies show will be cured by the DS. Others that have been approved for the DS (who are light weights with a BMI under 50) have had to do research and prove their case eg: family history of diabetes, hypertension,heart disease etc.
I go for another scope this week and if my ulcer is gone, I hope to get in the queue for a July or August DS.
