Pregnancy and DS???
Hello Everyone!!!
So I am going through my 3rd set of meetings with my nutritionist, I need to have a total of 6 to be approved for my surgery, and I was actually still undecisive between the DS and the Gastric Bypass. I am only 28 years old and would like to have kids someday and have heard that having the DS you will not have trouble losing weight after having kids, whereas having the Gastric Bypass you will more than likely have a hard time losing the weight.
My question is has anyone had the DS and had children afterwards? Was it hard for you to lose the weight?
Thank you!!!

I've seen several DS pregnancies over the years go wonderfully. Ideally, you want to lose your weight first before getting pregnant. While pregnant, you pay special attn to your nutritional health is all. Some OB's prefer you to see a high risk specialist, which will help pay special attn to your nutrition, too.
