Diarrhea
Going gluten-free is the way to go! All breads/pastas/everything with white or wheat flour gives me horrible diarreha.
Also, I've become lactose intolerant so if I have milk then my diarreha/gas is hooooooooorrible!!!!

Amy, I think I am the same as you. I have been on my own gluten free diet for 2 weeks. I feel 100% better. No gas or bloating at night. I am however seeing a GI doc about it. I'm thinking about starting back with my regular diet that included 100% whole wheats incase he wants to test for any diseases. What do you think?
Eliminating the starchy carbs will help a bit, but if it's bad bacteria that's built up, you may need a round of Flagyl to kill it off, then repopulate with a good probiotic. To help firm up your stools get some chia seeds. They worked wonderfully with me. I just dump a spoonful in my mouth, wash down with water, and take another 1 or 2 spoonfuls. You can take them 3-4x a day. You can get chia seeds at health food stores or order them online.
