I just started back this weekend and have lost 4 pounds. I think if we don't eat enough then we gain. Any way I would love to be 170 but I understand about reaching your goal. I was told that it could take 3 years. Good luck.

I can't offer any advice but I just wanted to say hello. I noticed you are from Sacramento and had a DS. I am in Sacramento, too, and currently trying to get a DS covered. I haven't noticed many from Sacramento with a DS so just wanted to say hello :) and hope you get the answers you need.

So far the answer is to eat. The way our bodies have been change if you don't eat you gain weight. Maks no since to me. There are a few of us from Sacramento but don't. One on here that much. Good luck in you search.

That's what happens to me toooooo!!! If I TRY to diet then I gain, but if I give up and eat whatever I want all day then I lose what I've gained. It's just so random... I don't know what to do to to get out of the 160's! BlaaaaaaaaaaH.... I'm just trying to focus on protein all day.

Protein seems to do the trick for me. I have lost 4 of the pounds that I has gained. So no more war hint calories for me.

Can I stop in for a moment to share a little about my story? Okay, if you really want me to I can make the time

I had the DS in 1999, Dr. Robert Rabkin in San Fransisco was my Doctor, I weighed 332 pounds when I got on that table for my new life.

Less than 2 years later I lost 208 pounds and had to have Plastics on my Tummy but opted to not have any more. I still have 12 pounds of skin in various places but it's not really that bad.

I choose to eat throughout the day, I do not diet or what what I eat except for my protein intake. I graze because I can still only eat very little so like someone said, I do as well stand with the fridge open, a little cheese there, a peice of turkey there. Then there are the nights I need Ice Cream and I have it!

I have yearly Bloods and they are good except sometimes my Iron is low so I increase it. I only take B's, Pre-Natal Multi, Calcioum and of course Iron and I stay healthy.

I stay and have for 12 years between 117-124, mostly the 124 because the other is very low and I still have the excess skin.

So that's my story and I am sticking to it!

Glad to meet you all

~ Peace, Sherri
