I don't mean to be a bother. But I noticed you have Greek yogurt daily and I was wondering if that's because it helps you with the good bacteria in the intestines. Recently I've had major issues with gas and bloating and jus today I went gluten free and had minimal issues. I'm trying to pin point some issues I've been having. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I think keeping gluten out of our diets helps a lot. As you see, I keep gluten way down too. I like the Greek yogurt and I hope it helps with the good bacteria. I've been having some luck with either Primal Defense Ultra or Gut Buddies probiotics as well. When all that fails, I have to take Flagyl antibiotic to clear the overgrowth out and start a new crop of good bacteria.

I started having REALLY bad gas after I took antibiotics.  I upped my probiotics this time around (the last time I had antibiotics I ended up having to get 2 rounds of flagyl to help).  I take probiotics daily, use greek yogurt AND have completely cut out gluten, found still having problems, not as much so cut out sugar.  NO more gas.  So guess my triggers are the sugar and gluten.  :(

editing to add:  I also cannot do white potatoes.  No potato chips, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes etc.  I can do sweet potatoes however.

cuts out a LOT of junk snacks in my eating now! LOL

Thanks, Noreen. :)  I hope that folks can see that DSrs all eat differently and do just fine as long as they keep the protein up and the carbs reasonable.

I would agree keeping gluten low does make a world of a difference. I took a round of flatly and I thought it was a miracle drug. I felt normal-- no gas or bloating-- for 2 weeks.

Hi guys,
Busy moving, no internet at the new house!!! Will post more often as soon as I can. I like to see what everyone is doing with daily menus,  once goal weight is reached. I'll be there soon, in a few more weeks.
