abdominal pain-need help

I am about 10 weeks post op from having the DS done and last week I developed abdominal pain. I called my surgeon and he sent me to the ER.  I had a CT scan done and they didn't find any blockage or anything at all. I only got 1 Liter of fluids because I was dehydrated.  There is no nausea, vomiting or diahrrea. BM are "regular" for me.  The pain is in the upper right to the side of the incision. It's not gallbladder, because they removed that when I had my surgery. It is a constant kind of throbbing pain, bending over forwards makes it hurt more.  I don't know why I am having this pain, it just started all of a sudden. It doesn't feel like a pulled muscle.

Has anyone else had this?

Just signed back in today and saw your post. Did you go to the ER or call your surgeon again. How are you doing?

alot of people dont realize just because you dont have a gallbladder doesn't mean you can't have gallstones - they can be in the bileducts or pancreatic ducts they are just harder to fine,  If this is the case - the pain is severe, constant and severe nausea  - usually an MRCP or ERCP to diagnose

You're very early out and it's so important to get in your fluids. Dehydrating makes everything that much worse. I'm sorry you're going through this.

I had the same type of pain you described around the same time post op as you too. My DS doc told me it was most likely due to the muscles healing- I still get it but now it's for a completely different issue.

I went and saw my pcp yesterday and the only thing he could come up with was possibly constipation. But I don't think that is the issue. He also did repeat labs and the did find that I have a bacteria infection called H-Pylori. So I am on 2 different anit-biotics and prevacid for 14 days. I have been in touch with my surgeon and I have my 3 month visit in 2 weeks with him.  They did say that this infection can cause pain, so I am hoping that that is what it is.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
