Brok's Pizza

I needed pizza....and needed it bad!!!   I remembered Brok's pizza, and made it last night.  It smelled terrific, tasted great, but I forgot and made it on a pizza tray covered in regular aluminum foil.  I lost half the cheese crust.  For future attempts, does spraying the tray with Pam work, or do I absolutely have to have the non-stick foil?  (I didn't have any in the house, and usually don't...)  The pizza was soooo damn good!                         Mary

Hi,
When I've made it I've used one of those throw away foil pans and sprayed it with Pam.  Worked like a charm.
  Love that stuff.

OMG   !!!   I haven't had contact with you in ages....    I need a new avatar....  my hair grew back in....  and my face is fuller....   and life is soooo damn good right now, it scares me....   I'm halfway thru my doctorate program,  I met a guy about a year and a half ago and he is so good to me!!, my job is pretty stable with 4 more years until I hit the Magic 25 (in civil service life, this is when your health benefits get paid when you retire), by then, I should be able to leave, and get a teaching job in a university (why the doctorate was needed)  , and, if the guy can hold out until then, we maybe might be a permanent thing!    I'll look around and send you the link for Brok's pizza....it's really good, filled with protein, very low carb....    Take care,  Mary

I use parchment paper on a cookie sheet sprayed with olive oil Pam. In fact, I just made it for dinner.

If no one has ever tried them I also highly recommend getting a "silpat" mat. They are expensive around $20 for one but they last forever. You don't have to use spray any longer if you do that. Nothing sticks. It's wonderful and a great way to save on calories.

As aDSer, the few calories in a spray simply don't exist for me. (*grin*) But the idea of the mat sounds good---where can you get them?

Bed, Bath and Beyond carries them. Most good cooking stores do too.

I do mine like Gail, with parchment paper.  I always keep some in the drawer just for my Brok's pizza!
