I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and 14 months post op. I am afraid I am a little smaller than most pregnant women at this stage. So I have a fear of my baby being really low birth weight. Anyone had a baby post op? I would love advice on what to do? Also, did you have to go on bed rest?

There is an entire forum devoted to pregnancy post up. Go to "forum" on the blue line, other weight loss related, more, pregnancy post up. .... Something very similar to that. I am on my phone and cant navigate as well.

Congrats. I am a mother of 5, all preop, and my family and kids really make  my life complete!

Congratulations!

Make sure your OB knows all about your surgery and which vitamins and minerals you malabsorb. Better yet, you should be under the care of a high risk OB. And of course contact your surgeon for any additional advice.

 Congratulations!
Do check out the pregnancy forum, and a gal by the name Darcy T.  She had a DS baby and her experience couldn't be better.  The doc will likely treat you as high risk, but that's okay.  They just want to take extra care of you.  At this point, supplements are most important for you.  The baby will take what it needs from your body, but you want to make sure there's enough left over for your own benefit.
