You are in the hands of one of the finest DS surgeons in the world! Hope you can attend some of his support meeting-they're great. Check on his web site for time and locations. I go to the SF meetings whenever I can.

I am so excited .. This all happen so fast for me . i was ready to give it till the door open showing me other wise .. i want to go the support meetings i hear there in sf and stockton which either way i about an hour out for me not sure about that night . but will look into it .. thank you for your support thur the messages anything you would like to share with me or any one else i am open to hearing what i should expect or should be doing ..

There is a smaller meeting in San Jose that is a great group. Have ou been to the new online DS support group? Some posters have it in their signature line.
The meeting in SF is in the same hospital as you will be having surgery and I would reccomend your attending in Feb before your DS. It is very uplifting to be around so many success stories.

I do plan attending a meeting or 2 before sugery . and i have no been on line witha support group yet but i have no not seen it in a signature line either so i will keep my eyes open for this .

the San Francisco meeting with Dr. Rabkin is the second Wednesday evening of each month. Arrive early to meet some experianced DSers. We're friendly

The other web support group is better with more of our "vets" available for advice. there is a thread for the many having the DS in February. Look for it and make some ne friends.
